With this feature, you can choose to plant and harvest your crops in a particular season, at your convenience. More detailed visuals of the changing seasons

You might already be aware of the four seasons while playing the previous versions of the Farming Simulator 22. They are Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. In the new version, you will be thrilled to see that the visual features and characteristics of the game have been updated in great detail to reflect the seasons in the game.

The developers have worked hard on the color of the trees and grass, the reflection of water, and the game's overall graphics to give you a season-specific feeling while playing the game. While in summer, the trees are looking nice and mature, in spring, the sprouting leaves are shown in vibrant shades. As the season changes to fall, the leaves have withered, and in winter, you can see them barren, with a few places showing mild snowfall as well.

With the color palette changing with every season, you cannot help but appreciate its natural look and features. As the name suggests, seasonal gameplay allows you to grow and harvest crops in particular seasons only. You can decide the seasons you want to play in, by using this feature. In this game, a year is divided into 12 days. Each day is the equivalent of a month, and each day is depicted as a different season. 

You can work in a particular season for as long or as quickly you want. Sometimes, you can work for just half an hour in a particular season, before you move to the next season, while at other times, you may choose to work in a specific season throughout your weekend. However, if you are not interested in seasonal gameplay, you can switch off this feature, and continue with your normal gaming style.

Seasonal Crop Calendar

If you are working in seasonal gameplay mode, this calendar is of immense help to you. It comes with the details of all the crops and the seasons when they have to be planted and harvested. You shouldn’t sell your crops immediately after harvest. Instead, you can store them and sell them when there is more demand, to get a good deal.

Working in  the snow requires alertness

With the new seasonal gameplay feature, you should be careful while working in the winter season. You should keep clearing off the snow from your farms, and you should also plan for food for your animals, as they may not get enough food during this season. However, even if you don’t want to do any of these, you can still use all your finished goods to be moved to the next stage of the production chains to make good use of them.
