Straw in FS 22
The bailing technology will be fascinating in Farming Simulator 22, as it was in the previous sequels of the game. This technology allows players to collect grass, hay, or straw, turn them into balers, and wrap them up. When you cut grass in Farming Simulator 22, you will get a straw or hay. It would be best to collect the straw with a loading wagon, a baler, or a forage harvester.
The bales are very convenient as you can load them, transport them, and store them very quickly. Regardless of the content, every bale has a high capacity of four thousand litters. Bales come into two different shapes, one cubic and one cylindrical. That makes things easier for the players, so choose what you prefer.
What Is Straw, And What Can You Do With It?
If you played previous versions of the Farming Simulator game, you already know that the straw is the thing left behind by a harvester. If the combine harvester harvests cereal crops such as oat, wheat, or barley – there will be much straw left behind its work.
A good thing to know is that oat produces the least amount of straw, while barley produces the most. Forage harvesters with the proper header equipment, scoops, and wagons can easily pick up loose straws. However, the best option is probably for the straw to get pressed into bales using a baler.
Since Farming Simulator 22 will have plenty of machines, vehicles, and other equipment, some of the mowers may also leave straws behind when working on a field of cereal crops.
When you collect the straw, you have a couple of options about what to do with it. You can either sell the straw or use it as bedding for the animals on your farm.
