Farming Simulator 22 – Animals Guide
The latest version of Farming Simulator will be launched on November 22nd this year, and fans of the game can’t keep calm. They are excited and expectations are sky-high from the game. Over the years, this interactive farming game has witnessed multiple upgrades, all thanks to the support of the loyal fanbase it enjoys.
Today, we will give you a brief overview of the list of animals you can maintain on the new version of FS22 and some points you should remember while rearing each of these types. Before that, it is quite a happy moment for us to inform you that the game has developed so much today, thanks to the modding culture.
Mods are nothing but extensions of the game created by fans. The makers of the game, Giants Software, take these fan mods quite seriously, and they consider including these features in the new version. For example, in the previous version of FS19, a mod called “Seasons” was installed to get natural seasonal colors on the farm while playing. In the latest version of Farming Simulator 22, the makers have introduced this feature, considering the popularity of this mod. Thanks to modding, you can improve your farming community to get the best experience.
Types of animals available in FS22
Like the previous version, the new version of Farming Simulator 22 also has five animals that you can breed – cows, pigs, chickens, horses and sheep. Breeding, feeding and maintaining each of them is completely different, and requires different levels of effort from you. Let us get to know more about them in the later sections of this article.
Basic maintenance of animals
The basic essentials that you should take note of when breeding animals are food, water and shelter. On FS22, you will get access to the following:
Food – You can visit the game’s store to buy food for the animals you breed. Currently, the options available in the game are a) haw, straw and silage, b) mixed feeds for pigs and c) oats and wheat sacks.
Water – You can use the water tankers from the game and fill them with water tanks on the map or any other available water source.
Shelter – Shelters for the animals are known as animal pens in the game. Every pen offers you two dimensions to pick from. You can own as many animal pens as you want; however, you have to pay daily maintenance charges for them; so, please keep pens that you require. Keeping the animal pens clean is very important. Once you have fed the animals, it is important to clean up any feed that has spilled outside. You can use front loader shovels to clean the mess outside the pens.
Animal breeding – A brief guide
Here are some important points you should remember about breeding animals on Farming Simulator 22.
Chicken
- Build a poultry house for breeding chickens. (You can choose a pen to house 100 chickens or a pen to house 400 chickens).
- Buying chickens would cost you $50 + $15 per chicken for transportation charges.
- Chickens feed on wheat. Load this food on the specifically marked trailers to be unloaded into the pens. Keep the pens clean after every feed.
- For every 15 minutes, 2 chickens will give 11 eggs in the game. So, you need to calculate accordingly depending on the no. of chickens you breed.
- You can sell the eggs in front of the animal pens. Eggs are packed in cardboard boxes. One box contains about 1501 eggs. You can load them on trailers and unload the same at the destination point.
Pigs
- Pigs are considered one of the most challenging animals to breed on FS22.
- Choose an animal pen first for pigs. You can choose a small pen (maximum capacity 100 pigs) or a big pen (maximum capacity 300 pigs).
- They can give a great deal of profit if you maintain their reproduction properly.
- Pig feed consists of corn (50%), wheat or oats (25%), soy, sunflower, or rape (20%) and sugar beet or potatoes (5%),
- 12 pigs can give you a profit of about $3000 per day, if maintained well. Slurry and manure collected from pigs can be sold at the Natural Gas Plant for money.
Sheep
- They are the easiest animals to breed on Farming Simulator 22.
- Smaller pastures can hold 60 sheep and bigger pastures can hold 250 sheep.
- Bales of grass or hay are the food they eat. Keep the pastures clean by using shovel attachments in the front loader.
- Wool production gradually increases as you play the game, and in a few days you can make a profit of $1000 per day for every 10 sheep by selling the wool.
- You can earn a good amount of profit with minimal maintenance while breeding sheep.
Cows
- If you want to make profits with cows on Farming Simulator 22, you should give them a feed consisting of grass, hay and silage. Use the special machine in the game to mix the ingredients in the right ratio.
- Straw bedding helps the cows to produce natural manure, which you can later sell to the Biogas Plant, if you have already purchased it.
- Apart from slurry and manure, cows also produce milk predominantly. Milk is packed in cisterns, and you can use transport trailers to take this to different places.
- 10 cows can produce 2200l manure, 1500l slurry and 1600l milk every day.
Horses
- Buy a stud farm for the horses. You can choose a small farm that can hold pieces, or a bigger farm that can hold 16 pieces.
- Though they don’t produce anything, it is important to keep your horses well-groomed. A horse costs about $5000, and you have to pay additional costs for transportation.
- The feed of horses is a mix of straw, water, oats and hay. Straw can help in cleaning them.
- When they increase in value, you can sell your horses on FS22. Cleaning them, riding them and brushing them properly, can increase the value of a horse. You can earn a maximum value of $50,000 for a well-groomed horse.
We hope this guide will help you breed animals properly and earn maximum profits on Farming Simulator 22.
Comme l'a dit Melissa, ils ne peuvent être vendus que pour un maximum de 5 000 et non 50 000, et vous les achetez aussi pour 500 et non 5000.
As Melissa said they can only sell for max of 5k not 50k, and you also buy them for 500 not 5000
des informations erronées, comme celles mentionnées précédemment à propos des chevaux. Cela rend le tout indigne de confiance.
some wrong info such as mention before about horses. This makes everything untrustworthy.
c'est ce qui a été dit...
thats what was said...
Les chevaux ne valent pas 50 000 dans FS22. Le prix maximum que vous pouvez obtenir pour eux est de 5 000 euros.
