Animal husbandry is one of the top things to do in Farming Simulator 22. You will have the option to buy a variety of domestic animals and take care of them. You can purchase farm animals from the Animal Merchant, but you need a trailer to transport the animals. You can invest in a trailer or pay for the animals' transport to your farm. The minimum charge is $200 per animal. Right after buying animals, the animals will go to their pastures and enclosures on the game map.
Taking Care Of Animals
To see the benefits of the animals, you must take good care of them. The first and most essential thing to do is to give them water regularly. Buy a water trailer from the Animal category in the game, and you have some excellent, cheap options there. To fill the trailer with water, drive it up to any water reservoir. You can also fill the trailer from the Water Tower.
Feeding is the next thing to do, and different types of animals require other foods. Sheep and cows depend on grass, while pigs need to eat corn or food from the shop. You can buy some pallets and pour them for them to eat.
Finally, cleaning after animals is an essential thing to do, which you must do it often if you want a high efficiency from your animals.
Once your animals have everything necessary, they will start to produce whatever their Animal Pen is made for. Most domestic animals produce one or two materials that can be sold or used on the fields. Some animals may breed in the pens too, filling the pen with more animals until total capacity. When they reach full capacity, you can sell the excess animals to make profits.
