Buying land in the upcoming Farming Simulator 22 will not be different from buying fields in the game's previous versions. A good thing to know is that you cannot purchase a single lot. You are required to buy the entire land where the field is. Then, you can modify the field size according to your preferences. However, the game will make things easy for you when picking a lot to cultivate farming goods. The following are some things to know before buying land in Farming Simulator 22.
Choosing The Proper Land To Buy
- Many fields will be small or with irregular shapes – avoid buying those. You can purchase one big piece of land and then divide it into several smaller fields. Always chose fields that are longer than wider. That will make things easier for you because the pace of work will be quicker.
- If you plan to plant many things, but you do not have enough money for several fields, choose fields that are very close to each other to the next one you plan to buy. This will also make things easier for you, because you can use the same machines to work on them, without transporting them to long distances. Later on, when you purchase more fields, you can combine those that are neighboring each other.
- Another thing to look into is the distance of the field to the silos, warehouses, points of sale of crops, and your shops. It is best to have fields close to these properties.
- Consider several factors when looking to purchase land. Think about how wooded the area is and whether there are some obstacles along the way. That is important because you need a clear space for your machines to operate on the field. Also, check whether the land is flat and whether there is enough place to build a necessary agricultural infrastructure on the field.
- To buy the correct plot of land in Farming Simulator 22, go to the map view, switch to land view, and pick one of the fields. Then go to the bottom of your screen to check the price for that particular field. A good thing to do is to go personally to inspect the field before purchasing. See what the field looks like, how much work it requires, and how much free space there is for you to use.
