Chickens are one of the domestic animals you can tend to in Farming Simulator 22. To take care of them and use them for your benefit, you need to build a poultry house. Purchasing a poultry house is quickly done through the game store, check properties, and then buy it.
There are smaller chicken pens to buy, which are for hundred chickens, and a larger chicken pen for 400 chickens. To buy chickens, go to the front of the poultry house or visit the animal dealer. Also, you need to pay a certain amount for animal transport.
For those that wonder how to feed chickens, the answer is simple. Chickens are very easy to provide because they only need wheat to survive. Pour the wheat on the marked spots and let them enjoy eating. For smaller chicken pens, you need to leave up to one thousand liters of food and five thousand liters for the larger one. Chickens produce eggs that you can sell on the market. Every 15 minutes in the game, 20 chickens will generate one liter of eggs. That means a hundred chickens can produce 51 eggs every 15 minutes, or a total of 480 liters per day.
Chickens also reproduce, which is a good thing. If you have ten chickens, you will get a new one every 24 hours. Keep in mind that the rate of reproduction is higher if the chickens are of the same color.
